Vanessa was born in Round Lake, New York to a family in medicine. Her love of the arts started when she began dancing ballet at the age of 2.5 which she continued all the way through as a minor at University. She has one sister who had a natural gift for painting, drawing, and Fresco's which she studied in Italy and succeeded at creating. Vanessa's immediate uncle was David M Jennings (since deceased) who was a famed New York Times photography and close friends with Mario Cuomo whom attended family events, and was able to have David as his political photographer throughout his term. Following in the footsteps of his father, Vanessa's grandfather, who was the mayor of the town, a WWII Purple Heart recipient, and a beloved man known for extensive wisdom in a vast amount of fields from magnetic conductivity, to astronomy to geology. Her grandmother started the first Woman's Rifle Club where she taught and explained safety procedures for the community of mostly then housewives. They were high school sweet hearts and loved by all. Vanessa and her sister's mother was their greatest inspiration showing them things from camping and survival foods at young ages, edible plants and flowers, horseback riding, sports, and a "you can do anything you want if you study and try, attitude." Vanessa was immersed in medicine at the age of 12 by taking up part time job at the female run Doctor's office her mother worked at until high school. She picked up a great love of caring for people, science and prevention of diseases and went on to study the human body, physiology and human nutrition to maintain a healthy body and mind. After college, she began getting offers to model from NY, DC, and Miami. She enjoyed roles where she was able to work side by side with John Travolta, Shakira, Giselle, Robin Williams, and many others. As she got older and had been in almost every brand of beer commercial from Canada to Mexico she started to provide props for the Miami film season mostly instruments, musicians and locations. She enjoys the production process the most and has been featured in commercials all over the world. After working with Sopranos, she took a hiatus to focus on raising children. Vanessa spent several months in L.A. than realized her talent was more musically inclined. She also didn't enjoy the constant demand to look flawless every second of every day to please potential directors without prior a prior relationship. She was blessed by knowing many producers in high places and does not regret any of her experiences. Her love for the tropics has kept her in the Miami entertainment area, "she shines the most as putting together musicians and scouting new talent." Her work as a producer continues to grow into a worldwide known music industry pro. She's worked with musicians all over the world and has known many of them in excess of 20 years. She has a knack for finding underground talent and helping them rise. Her mentor has also admired her contributions to the music industry. Singing and dancing are the ultimate joys of her life and her kids have shown a genius-like ability to pick up any instrument and learn to read music within 3 weeks and pick up any production gear or DJ mixers and play as if they have played for a decade. She enjoys immersing her children in music and her 11 year old is releasing a full beat album set that defies her age and shocked family. Vanessa remains an in demand production professional. Whether finding new talent that has a vocal range out of this world, to a rapper that captivates audiences, she enjoys keeping up with all the dance styles she knows and has been offered numerous teaching positions from Mamba, Tango to Ballet, and Hip Hop. Her love of music is evident in her home where she has at least 11 hand made musical instruments that she can play, and that enhances artists that she produces and promotes when they show true lyrical and genuine passion to the field of the arts.
