Ileana G. Bravo is a bilingual Latina actress based in Colombia. Born and raised in Costa Rica, to a Costa Rican mother and Colombian father. She fell in love with performing arts as a little girl and performed in a number of plays through her high school drama club. Upon graduating high school, she studied drama and theater at Taller Nacional de Teatro for two years after which she joined the well-known theater group Guiñol. She spent the next 3 years performing physical and acrobatic plays with Guiñol, as well as with various European companies at the International Arts Festival (FIA). In 2015, motivated by her desire to transition into screen acting, she moved to Colombia, where she played numerous guest roles for various television shows, among those, the popular drama series, La Ley del Corazón. She also worked as a Reader for big international productions such as Netflix, Amazon, Disney and Telemundo. Her latest performance was in 2019, when she played the lead role (the Bride) in the famous Spanish play Bodas de Sangre, by Federico García Lorca. She continues to broaden her skill set by training with accomplished actors and directors. Additionally, she has diversified her talents by completing several VoiceOver and Accent trainings. She is currently preparing a virtual course offering, where she helps guide new actors through preparing for auditions and self-tapes.
