Born in Illinois and raised in the suburbs north of Denver, Colorado, Bradley knew from an early age he wanted to be a police officer. Out of high school, Bradley joined the United States Air Force, working on the super-secret SR-71 and U2 spy planes. But military service was just one step towards his dream to be a police officer. While active duty Air Force, Bradley graduated from Yuba College in Marysville, California with an A.S. in Criminal Justice. In 1992, Bradley joined the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. He worked as a Patrol Officer and Field Training Officer for several years and in 1999 was promoted to detective. For nearly seventeen years, Bradley was assigned to the elite Repeat Offender Program and specialized in covertly identifying, investigating and catching career criminals who prey on the citizens of Southern Nevada. In 2015, Bradley left the detective bureau and returned to uniformed duty-in part, to reconnect with the community he had long served and also to begin transitioning towards retiring from law enforcement and the grind of being on-call 24 hours a day. Bradley has written several law enforcement-themed features for American COP Magazine, POLICE Magazine, and PoliceOne.com. He has been interviewed on TruTV as a subject matter expert, multiple times on local Las Vegas television, and numerous times on broadcast and Internet radio programs. Bradley was was a keynote speaker at the Fifth Annual LeadsOnline® Law Enforcement Leadership Conference (2012). Bradley's debut true-crime thriller, "Repeat Offender," was released by WildBlue Press on 04/14/15. Suspense Magazine named the tome "Best of 2015" for true crime. "Repeat Offender," a feature-length documentary film adapted from Bradley's book was released in June of 2019 through Global Genesis Group. Bradley executive produced the film and participated in every scene in one fashion or another. Bradley narrated the documentary film, "The Wounded Blue" (2019). The documentary explores the struggle law enforcement officers often face all over the U.S. in receiving proper health care and benefits after sustaining a traumatic, often career-ending on the job injury or who are suffering from PRSD. Bradley resides in the Las Vegas, Nevada area with his wife of over thirty years, has four children and four grandchildren. Bradley's plans are to retire from the police department in 2020, and continue exploring producing in the filmmaking world with new projects already in research.
