Then came, "Desde Cero (From the Ground Up)" which follows a Mexican athlete who set a speed world record by going from sea level in Veracruz to the highest point in Mexico at almost 19,000 feet high in less than 16 hours nonstop, cycling, running and climbing. In 2016, Francisco wrote and directed "Sin Manual (No Further Instructions)", a documentary on how mexican constructors'genious was applied to build the International Baroque Museum by japanese architect Toyo Ito in only 9 months and against all odds. This film has been official selection in diverse film festivals in Mexico (DocsMx, Cinetekton), the US, London, Nicaragua, Holland and was awarded as best Architecture Documentary Film at the 2017 FICARQ in Spain. In 2019 he wrote, edited and was head of postproduction of the Red Bull short film "Tres Picos (Three Peaks)", directed by Hellios Nieto about a young woman with Asperger's syndrome and no skills for mountain running who climbed 3 volcanoes in less than 24 hours. Currently (june 2020), he is directing and editing a documentary on "Los Diablos Rojos (The Red Devils)", the most important baseball team in Mexico.
