Rod Giltaca

Rod Giltaca is one of the most highly respected leaders in the Canadian firearms community and producer of The CCFR's Canada Dowrange. As an instructor in good standing with the RCMP Canadian Firearms Program, Rod has personally taught roughly 4,000 students in the Canadian Firearm Safety Course. Rod has educated every-day Canadians, Law Enforcement, Politicians and Media on licensing, Canada's firearm laws and live fire proficiency on a variety of firearms. Rod is currently the CEO & Executive Director of the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights, a group dedicated to educating the non-gun owning public about firearms law, regulation and social responsibility. Rod created and is the Executive Producer of the first television show in Canadian broadcast history focused entirely on sport shooting, "The CCFR's Canada Downrange". Season one is currently running on cable via WildTV. Season two began production in April 2019. Rod is an atypical representative of the community. He is a professional communicator with an extensive background in business and negotiation. Rod was the first President and one of the original founders of the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights, Canada's reasonable, law & order firearm advocacy group. As a highly-skilled private sector professional, Rod enjoys an unblemished, national reputation as a reasonable, mature voice in Canadian firearms politics.
