Catherines recent credit was her work in the NetFlix/Foxtel American Drama 'Deadly Women' starring as Maria Manning. Hailing from a small town country in Victoria Australia, at the age of 14 years old, Catherine was chosen to do her high school work experience at the Melbourne Theatre Company on the Production, Scarlett O Hara in the Crimson Parrot directed by Simon Phillips and starring Australian actor Caroline O'Connor. It was from this experience she made the discovery that her purpose as a self and artist were the very same. Profoundly fascinated by humanity, she wanted to creatively discover what it meant to be human and thrived off the fact that performance could move, challenge and inspire others in their life. During her high school years, she sought any opportunity available to her which saw her undertake the role of a technical trainee at the Hothouse Theatre in Albury and finally at 17 years old was accepted into the University of Ballarat where she went on to further study and successfully graduate with a BA in Acting. Given the opportunity to play and embody the different voices/accents and movement of a vast range of theatrical characters such as Shakespeare's drunken Stephano in The Tempest, stubborn Cynthia from Arnold Wesker, undeniably perfect Grace from Australian playwright Brendan Cowell's play Morph & Chekhov's Masha from The three sisters, Catherine decided not only that she wanted to creatively explore and pursue her career in Australia but rather follow some of these great works to their place of origin which saw her working in London for under 2 years. During her time in the industry thus far her experience has seen her star in the short film A Rusted Heart, written & directed by Thomas Train which won a Gold Remi Award at the WorldFest in 2015, a music video for Years & Years band and a commercial for Renault cars with Australia's well renowned Formula One Race car driver Daniel Riccardo. As well as presenting for Fuji Xerox and the Medieval Festival, IronFest. Hardworking and a dedicated actor with a great love for voiceover also, Catherine has worked for clients such as W Brisbane and Gourmet Delight. Aside from her native Australian accent, Catherine's distinctive and unique selling point is her UK RP, New York, Southern American accent and her English rose/Mediterranean look that works well for period drama.
