Carly Brown

Carly is confident & skilled Editor with over 8 years of experience in broadcast TV and branded content. Her broadcast work ranges from crafting long form documentaries, to cutting fast turn-around films for sports & entertainment shows, often live on air. She has worked on various TV programmes on the BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5, as well as Amazon Prime and the Olympic Channel. Whilst in-house as Editor at Whisper Films (2016-19), she cut showreels, pitch films & taster tapes which led to new commissions, clients and awards for the company, including major successful bids for the Winter Paralympic Games on Channel 4, and Bose sponsorship of Channel 4's Formula One coverage. As well as editing, she has also directed and produced several short films including 'Flat 443' which won Best Drama at the National Student TV Awards in 2011. In 2018 she was featured in Broadcast Magazine as one of their 'Hot Shots', and was invited to join the Edinburgh TV Festival's 'One to Watch' 2018 talent scheme. In 2017 she was shortlisted for Broadcast TECH Young Talent Awards 2017.
