Thang Ho is a highly sought-after Producer and Director whose award-winning work has been featured in festivals and competitions around the world. Among his many prestigious projects, he produced Aurinko in Adagio (Short Film, 2021), Official Selection at Tribeca Film Festival and now available on Amazon Prime; and Around The Block (Short Film, 2020) with Atlanta-based Director Kevon Pryce, a dramatic narrative short about a black male child living in the Bronx. The film became an official selection of the Oscar-qualifying 2019 Atlanta Film Festival, one of the largest and longest-running film festivals in the United States. "Working on Around the Block with Ho was one of the most seamless and cohesive experiences I've had on set to date", Pryce describes his relationship with Ho. He has also produced commercials, like Zara Fashion Film (2020) which won the Golden Telly and Silver Telly at the 2020 42nd Annual Telly Awards and named Commercial - Honorable Mention at the Los Angeles Film Awards in May 2021. His work in music videos has also achieved global recognition. Mr. Ho spearheaded the 2020 music video "Something About Ya" in collaboration with 2019 top 20 R&B Billboard Chart Artist J. Howell, which hit 3 million views on the worldwide video-sharing website YouTube, a number that continues to rise. Mr. Ho's strong and varied background as a Producer has inspired many creators and artists to work with him, including Emmy Award-winning Actress, Producer, and Screenwriter, Lena Waithe; and Gideon Amir, Producer of the HBO Max series Doom Patrol and other well-known shows such as Carnival Row and Knightfall. Other than his building his own production company, HOCA Studio, Ho now works with VMA award-winning production company, Tre Native. Ho was born in Vietnam and lived in a variety of countries, including Singapore, Sweden, New Zealand, and the United States. As a global citizen, he has both visited and engaged with different cultures of many European and Asian countries, as well as varying regions within the United States. During this time he learned that adaptability was key, specifically, communicating with different cultures, managing and reconfiguring expectations as a guest in other peoples' cultures, and problem-solving in cases where he was not fluent in or even novice at the language. His work and achievements have been featured in Variety, Indiewire, Deadline Hollywood, Oz Magazine, Georgia Short Films Magazine, and the Georgia Studio & Infrastructure Alliance. Mr. Ho's work as a Producer for music projects has also been covered by leading platforms, including BET, EIN Presswire, and This Is RnB.
