This triple threat was born in California but grew up primarily in Fayetteville, North Carolina. After completion of high school at the age of 16, Demi was offered many grants and scholarships to attend various universities, but decided to stay close to home and attend the closest HBCU to enrich her both mentally and culturally before venturing out in life on her own. She began an undergraduate program that focused on Biology to veer her towards a concentration in Medicine for my goal of becoming a pediatrician. It was towards the beginning of her junior year that she auditioned for her first play, got cast in a lead role, and forever changed her direction in life. She knew then that acting was where her heart and soul truly was. She graduated at 20, worked for a year to save up, and ventured West to Los Angeles. Demi has acted in bit roles, studied at Groundlings, written for various publications, hosted several red carpets, and co hosted a nationally streamed and broadcast talk show, all while working as a top performing General Manager in a multi-million dollar restaurant chain. In life a little rain must pour causing a shift in dreams and placing things on the back burner. She became epileptic, her father passed away suddenly, and placed acting on hold to stand by my mother as she battled breast cancer. Demi has since left the hospitality world and moved to becoming a successful Public Relations Executive, while still focusing my attention on acting, singing, and hosting. She has always known that being an entertainer was her true calling.
