Gaëlle Le Roy is a French actor and performing artist, with a passion for theatre and cinema. She hails from Brittany, France, where she spent most of her childhood. At a very young age, Gaëlle was already passionate about the performing arts and film. While still early in her education, she joined a theatre company and began acting in various plays. Gaëlle obtained her high school diploma and committed to living in the United States, in order to speak English fluently. She spent time in both Connecticut and New York City, and after achieving conversational and literary fluency, and making many friends Stateside, she dedicated herself, both professionally and artistically to the theatre. After returning to Paris, Gaëlle was accepted into the prestigious Atelier International de Théatre de Blanche Salant et Paul Weaver. She studied there for three years and worked alongside mentors Blanche Salant, Jérôme Mela and Anne Denis. Each taught different techniques based on the work of Stanislavski, aiming to develop the actor's creativity and to further artistic expression. It was there that Gaëlle found her freedom in acting. She gained essential tools and a deeper understanding of the profession, on the whole. And, while pursuing her degree, Gaëlle began to audition for films and landed her first starring roles. In 2011, she decided to go back to America, and added another string in her bow, by becoming a bi-continental performer. Gaëlle was accepted into the renowned acting school, the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, in New York City. Working intensely, within their Summer Conservatory, she gained a certificate of completion and emerged stronger and readier to respond positively to any international offers or bookings. Gaëlle is also very concerned with environmental activism. She is an active member of Greenpeace, PETA and Avaaz, in addition to regularly campaigning for ecological practices and the protection of wildlife. She pursues this passion with the same vigor as her artistic ventures, and Gaëlle is positive that every person has the power to change the world, standing by her mantra: Several drops altogether make a powerful ocean. She thinks that the world can be profoundly changed in different ways, and film is one of them. Full of energy and creativity, Gaëlle is always enthusiastic about new film and theatre projects, and is continuously looking for adventurous and heart-stopping opportunities. She continues to further these pursuits, and seeks out her passions, everyday.
