Writer, director, and editor Morgan Grunefeld was born in Groningen -The Netherlands, in 1989. Father, a musician, mother, a French teacher, and a sister. He started his model career at 16. First, he moved to London and Milan, where he lived for two years. New York followed and he stayed there for 6 months, and after that, he lived and worked in Paris. At twenty-one, Morgan moved back to his native Groningen to complete his study Journalism and Photography. After graduation in 2012, he attended the Academy of Pop culture, where he got his Bachelor of Arts degree 2016. He decided to move to Los Angeles to follow his dream as a filmmaker. Soon he realized that if he wanted a career in filmmaking, he should first spend more time on filmmaking in his own country. Once he would make a successful movie, he would also get picked up in Hollywood. Back in the Netherlands 2017 he moved to Amsterdam. In 2018 he studied Directing Fiction at the Amsterdam Film School with the short movie 'Lost Kids' as the result of his graduation. Starring Julian Moon Snijder, Patrick Aliev, Bart Bijnens and Maaike Tol. From 2017 till 2019 he worked at Digital Media Agency 'Wannahaves', where he was responsible for all the video content. Here he could really develop his professional skill and made campaigns for Nike, Adidas, Porsche, and more A-brands. In 2019, he decided to spread his wings and started his own company, The Film Creator, where he brings his sharp eye for content on the freelance market as a creative /director. At the end of 2019 he released his new short movie 'Niet Gegumd' starring Joe Sinduhije, July Janssen and Julian Moon Snijder. Soon after during Covid-19 in 2021 he wrote with July Janssen the award winning drama thriller KOUD BLOED, starring July Janssen and Geoffrey Thompson. In 2022 Morgan is working on his first feature film Lost Kids the movie, starring Sem Ben Yakar and Mike Libanon.
