Ruby Mainieri

Ruby Anna Mainieri was born on November 19th 2000, to Jazz musician, Mike Mainieri, and singer-songwriter, Dee Carstensen. At a young age Ruby began writing short comedic stories, and would go on to perform at the Stand Up NY comedy club in New York City. She won six Scholastic Art and Writing competitions, and in 2019 won the Southern California Screenwriting Competition for her comedic pilot 'Miss Demeanor.' Most recently she wrote, produced, co-directed, and starred in 'This Girl That Girl,' her first short film.
