Andy Johnston

Andy(he/him) is a queer, actor, screen writer, independent producer and drag artist based in Melbourne Australia. He graduated from Victorian College of the Arts in 2016 and has trained at Actors Centre Australia, NIDA and Brent St Studios. Andy has travelled the world with Priscilla Queen of The Desert in the lead role of Felicia, was the on screen double for Toby Maguire in Baz Lurhmann's 2013 film The Great Gatsby and is the creator behind the sell-out Melbourne Fringe show Twink Ascending. Most recently Andy lead the Australian Premiere of Yank! The Musical as Stu for Understudy Productions and thrilled over 15,000 audiences members as Edgar Allen Poe in the immersive mega-giant A Midnight Visit in Melbourne. His drag persona Viktoria Bitter is a star on the rise with her very own podcast "The V Spot" which is available to download on Spotify and Apple iTunes.
