Maya Misaljevic was born in Toronto on October 14, 2010. She is an actress, singer, and dancer and began her acting career at 6 months old when she appeared in a Kohl's commercial. Maya has worked on numerous film and tv productions throughout the years with her most recently being cast as the lead role in the horror-comedy 'Here for Blood'. In addition, she played the daughter of Emily Hampshire and Jonas Chernick in the comedy 'The End of Sex' which made its world premiere at TIFF this past fall. She is known for her role as super-hero, Young Starlight, in Amazon Prime's 'The Boys' where she had to act, sing, and dance to Britney Spears' hit 'Baby One More Time'. She also appeared as the younger version of Willow Shields' character on Netflix's 'Spinning Out' and made an appearance as Molly on Netflix's 'Locke and Key'. Furthermore, Maya has a number of voice credits which include the feature film 'Fireheart' where she voiced the younger version of the lead character, Georgia, played by Olivia Cooke. Her voice credits also include the recurring roles of Katerina Kittycat on PBS's 'Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood', Henrietta Hare on Disney's 'Pikwik Pack', and Frieda- one of the Peanuts gang - on Apple TV+'s 'Snoopy'. Besides her on screen work, she was also a child model for several years and appeared in ads for Harlequin Romance, Walmart, Today's Parent Magazine, Hudson's Bay, and Sears to name a few. Maya enjoys sports such as gymnastics and volleyball and loves to sing, dance, and hang out with her friends and family in her spare time. She was a dancer for the Toronto Raptors Lil Ballas dance team for 3 years.
