Ruby Pappan

Ruby Pappan is 21 years old and began her pursuit of professional dance, song, and film at the tender age of 2. Subsequently, she began competing at the age of 3 years old. Ruby was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico; heart-achingly put up for adoption by her blood family { Danielo + Jen Mendes // both teens / (pro-entertainers themselves since childhood) at the time of sweet Ruby's birth }. She trained at Sandra's School of Dance from 2 to 13 years old. She and her foster family made the move to Los Angeles at 13, and Ruby rigorously trained at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Millennium Dance Complex, and The Edge. She also adeptly assisted at the Pulse, Hollywood Connection, Monsters of Hip Hop, and additional classes; while also accepting choreography bookings at domestic and international conventions. Ruby won Dancer/Icon of the Year at Hollywood Connection; Icon regional several times, Ms. Showstopper, Ms. Global IDA, A List Winner (iHollywood), Protégé Winner (Pulse), won the title Ms. Starpower and has placed 1st overall, consistently. Pappan has trained under Lindsley Allen, Nathan Trasoras, Brooklyn Jai, Robert Shultz, Lisette Bustamante, Chonique Sneed, Brooke Lipton, Lynn Patton, Biz Burke, Roman Vasques, Mitchel Federan, Shanti Lowry, Kimberly Lyon, Jason Kalish, Robert Shultz, and Gigi Torres. Ruby starred in The Tales of Hoffman Opera, B.E.T. Blaze the Stage, WNBA Sparkids, Show Off music Video, The Cookie Dance Video, Make Me Over video, Do Yo Gudda music video, 'Bout it music video, Lindsley Allen "Strut Fit" workout video, Just Dance 5 Commercial and Just Dance 4 for Kids video game. Pappan's favorite styles of dance are contemporary, jazz, funk, and hip hop. Favorite teachers include: Brooklyn Jai, Nathan Trasoras, Lisette Bustamonte, Lindsley Allen and Mitchel Federon. Favorite dance partners include Daneilo A Mendes, Jen D Mendes, Charlie b Dancin Mendes, Anne Curtis Smith (Mendes), Jasmin Curtis Smith (Mendes), Louna Leiannea Bear Mendes, and Marlee June Ines Mendes. Ruby loves to create her own choreography and has become an esteemed / in demand professional choreographer; in addition to her inherent love / talent (of / for) photography. She enjoys camping, singing, working out, the raucous / peace-giving ocean; and maintains a steadfast, loving, and enduring relationship with her entire FAMILY.
