Born and raised in Staten Island, New York Ellis Wiliams' career in production began at Turner Broadcasting at Bleacher Report; a digital publisher in the sports world. Rising fast from a Production Assistant to a Producer, Ellis was able to tell multiple stories about established professional and young hopeful athletes whose stories have yet to be told. In 2015, Ellis started his own production company, Once in a Lifetime Media INC. where he seeks to tell more stories giving depth and complexity to black and brown experience. In early 2018, Ellis began a new phase in his career as an Associate Producer at CBS Sports, where he works on features, teases, promos and documentaries in the Creative Department under Pete Radovich. Notable works include the tease for the 119th Army/ Navy Game. The tease for Super Bowl LIII and much more. In the summer of 2018, 1iL was able to work on 'Something in the Water,' a film green lit by the NBA under its Players Only Films banner on Facebook Watch led by My Moon Productions. This is where Ellis was a part of the production team who followed Luka Doncic (Slovenia) and Dznanan Musa (Bosnia) two international basketball players from the same region (known as the former Yugoslavia) both seeking to join the rich history of the areas contributions to professional basketball with the second most amount of players to be drafted in the NBA under the USA.
