Bestselling author, actress, social media influencer, anti-bullying activist... At only 17 years old, Carrie Berk already has a life's worth of accomplishments under her belt. Patch recently called her "a whirlwind of a young woman" and Bella Magazine declared her "an ambitious and dedicated boss babe." A bestselling children's book author with 21 books to her credit, Carrie penned her first book Peace, Love and Cupcakes, when she was only in second grade. The Cupcake Club series went on to publish 12 books (selling 400,000+ copies worldwide), and became an award-winning Off-Broadway show and featured selection in 2017's New York Musical Festival. Carrie not only co-wrote the script for the play, but starred in it as well, earning her critical praise and a NYMF award for Outstanding Individual Performance. Carrie's second series, Fashion Academy, stems from her passion for fashion. The six-book series also became an Off-Broadway production at Vital Theatre and is currently licensed worldwide by Tams-Witmark/Concord Music Publishing. Her latest series, Ask Emma (Bonnier Publishing), springs not just from her boundless imagination, but from her personal experience as a teen lifestyle blogger and someone who has experienced cyberbullying firsthand. Ask Emma launched in 2018 at Book Expo America and Book Con with book three of the series hitting shelves in 2020. Carrie launched "Carrie's Chronicles" in December 2017. The "style empowerment" site, paired with her exciting posts on her verified Instagram (@carrieberkk, 400+K followers) and verified TikTok (@carrieberkk, 700K followers, 20 million likes), is about channeling your style as your superpower. When Carrie isn't writing, she can be found singing, dancing and acting. She stars in the hit Brat TV series, "Stage Fright" as Karina, the intrepid Crown Lake Chronicle reporter, and loves meeting fans on social media tours including Boys of Summer, Winter Lights Orlando, Social Bash Live, Sad Society Fan Fest and JuiceKrate. Carrie also proudly serves as a teen ambassador for No Bully and has made it her mission to encourage tweens and teens to practice empathy and respect among their peers, both in everyday life and on social media. She frequently speaks to elementary and middle school classes/school groups about issues ranging from literacy and bullying to believing in yourself and following your dreams. Carrie has been profiled in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Daily News and Teen Boss! Magazine for being a real kid "networking her way to success." She has served as an on-camera correspondent for TigerBeat and Girls' Life, covering red carpet arrivals and celeb interviews at the Radio Disney Music Awards, New York Fashion Week, and the Teen Choice Awards. She has contributed to Seventeen Magazine's print and digital channels and her recent video for Seventeen, "Bestie Picks Bae" has over 2 million views. Carrie also launched a YouTube channel Carrie's Chronicles and has been quoted in numerous media as a fashion, beauty, social media and teen expert.
