Linda Lou Walsh, American Actress/Producer, born in Torrance, California to Shirley Ann (William) and Louis Anthony Turcany, is the 4th of 5 children. Linda Walsh is of Italian, Hungarian, Slovakian, English, Irish, German, and Swedish, descent. Linda began her love for act at age 8, when her older brother began acting as the lead in several Shakespeare plays during high school. He was talented, and inspiring and ignited the spark that encouraged Linda to pursue her career. At age 15, Linda began performing in theater and competing in local beauty pageants, winning several First place awards and Miss Photogenic in the South Bay area including: Miss Gardena, Miss Wilmington, Miss San Pedro, and 2nd place in Miss Lomita Pageant. She began developing her stage performance skills and it was at age 16 that she was signed on by her first Hollywood talent agent, Dale Garrett. At age 18, Linda attended a seminar at UCLA on how to break into a career in acting, modeling, and motion pictures hosted by top modeling agency in Los Angeles, Nina Blanchard. Near the closing of the seminar, in which there were over 3000 hopeful attendees, Linda was noticed by Nina Blanchard during Q&A. Nina Blanchard invited Linda Walsh to her Hollywood office where she signed the contract. Linda Walsh began working as an international model and actress in feature films, TV, commercial, and print in the USA and abroad. She landed several big jobs including nationwide Avon commercial which landed her Screen Actors Guild membership. She gained international recognition working as the lead model for the Jindo Fur worldwide commercial campaign, and was the lead in numerous TV commercials including: Shiseido Japanese cosmetics, France Bed international commercial, and multiple parts in feature films and TV series, including Lethal Weapon II, Back to School, Moonlighting, Murder She Wrote, Cagney & Lacy, Simmon & Simmon, and Star Trek - Next Generation. While on a two month contract with an agency in Tokyo, Japan, Linda was a highly sought after talent for commercial and print work, and renewed her contract several times while she continued working steadily in Japan for four years during 1986 to 1990. Upon returning to the USA, Linda met Kevin Walsh in San Diego, CA. Kevin had recently completed his 6 years with the US Navy on the USS Coral Sea aircraft carrier. They exchanged vows, and now have over 25 years of marriage and 4 children. They dedicated almost 20 years of family life raising their 4 children in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, and Linda has returned to her passion of acting. Linda Walsh continues to hone skills in her craft at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts - Acting On Camera courses. When not working on a film or TV project, Linda is a black belt in Aikido martial arts and is involved with AHAN - Nippon Kan, as the international coordinator of a humanitarian network assisting orphans, and disabled children worldwide. She travels internationally countries including: Thailand, Vietnam, and Kathmandu, Nepal. Linda Walsh has Post academy training in law enforcement, firearms, and is a black belt in Aikido martial arts, and trains at Rocky Mountain Stunts in Arvada Colorado as a stunt actress. Linda trains in the Denver Police Department Fitness program, and enjoys running, biking, swimming, swing dancing, hiking, camping, fishing, horseback riding, hunting, traditional archery, shooting sports, precision driving, stunts, unarmed combat, fencing and living life to the fullest while encouraging others to do the same.
