Tayyib Mahmood was born on October 10, 1996, in Birmingham, England. He grew up in Sparkhill, Birmingham and attended Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College until the age of 19, and then attended Birmingham City University to study Film Production Technology (BSc). He discovered his love for film at a young age. He became a film buff in his early years and preferred to watch films as a source of entertainment. As an avid cinema goer, his love for film increased and pushed him to create his own projects. In 2015, he attended the BFI Film Academy Birmingham which opened the doors into the industry and from there was selected to partake in The National Film and Television School Residential Course in London. While networking with industry professionals, he gained respect and contacts in order to work in the industry. His high energy rate and enthusiasm is something which not common for an individual of his caliber. Being brought up with many issues such as speech difficulties, it came clear that he was a visionary and can picture what he wants in his head.
