Biography

Bilingual Haitian actor/model Sam Zephir was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Boston, MA. He speaks both Haitian Creole and English. His father is a minister and his mother is a registered nurse. At the tender young age of 11, Sam was cast as the lead role of Mark, in an adaptation of Aesop's Fables, a play that was performed for several consecutive nights at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology community theatre. This is where Sam not only fell in love with drama, but discovered he had a penchant for it. Sam would go on and perform as the lead in several original plays at his father's church, entertaining the crowd each time. Being the son of Haitian immigrants and living in Boston made it somewhat difficult to truly pursue acting much further, and Sam went on to graduate Randolph High School and earn a bachelor's degree at Boston University in Sociology and minor in Philosophy and Spanish in 2005. He would work in the financial industry for a decade before his passion and love
