Madeleine Russell, born in Melbourne, made her first leap into a career in acting studying at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. Graduating in 2018 with Honours in a Bachelor of Stage and Screen where she majored in acting, she relocated to Sydney to pursue a career in the film and television industry. Madeleine's most notable role is playing Imogen in the hotly anticipated " Ridgewood River", written, directed and produced by Cameron Davies and Zachary Williams, which intends to have its independent debut in 2021. Other career highlights include being cast in Dream Maker Studio's production of "Undertow", directed by the late Peter Spann, playing the co- star role of Jess to Jaqui Purvis, and playing the lead in the independent short "Horror Movie II", which she received the award for best female actress in the Bloodfest competition in 2020 and took out best picture overall. In 2022, Madeleine is set to undertake her second independent feature film, "3, 2 Gone" by Russell Southam.
