Misato Omori was born in Utsunomiya, Tochigi prefecture, Japan. She wrote her first script when she was ten years old for her school drama club. She joined the local musical theater company "Dreaming" when she was thirteen. In 2009 she got into the acting course of J.F. Oberlin University in Tokyo. Over the years she has had numerous roles in theaters across Japan. In 2016 Misato started her on-screen career by appearing in many Japanese and international feature films, TV shows and commercials. She has worked in Canada, Australia and the UK, developing her acting skills constantly. Her upcoming projects are the feature film "The Way Home", which Misato is also directing, and "Misbehavior" directed by Philippa Lowthorpe, where she plays Miss Japan, Hisayo Nakamura.
