Katie Ann was born in Springfield, Missouri. When she was 8, her family moved to Douglas, Wyoming; then at age 10 to Laramie, Wyoming. She attended classes at Mesa State University in Grand Junction Colorado and the University of Wyoming in Laramie Wyoming, majoring in Theatre. She moved to Denver Colorado in 2009. She restarted her pursuit of acting shortly after her father passed away in 2016.
