Brooks Houser

Brooks Houser was born on December 4th, 1995 in Portland, Oregon, USA. Even as a child, Brooks found himself most fulfilled when he had a camera in his hands. What began as a hobby with his neighborhood friends quickly became shooting and editing skateboarding videos of his peers, and later, in high school, a deeper love in photography. After winning multiple Scholastic National Arts awards, Brooks pursued and completed a BA in Cinematography at The Evergreen State College in 2019. Armed with a foundation in large format studio photography, Brooks returned to filmmaking, establishing himself within the Bad Taste Video team. Since, Brooks has shot and worked on music videos, promotional materials, and his first two feature films; 'Hippie Cannibals' and 'I Need You Dead!'.
