Abinaya Maran

Abinaya Maran is a Canadian actor, born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Growing up, she took part in track meets, was a part of her school's basketball team, volleyball team and flag football team. She also trained in modern dance and Bharatanatyam (Indian classical dance) and loves to paint when not acting. She first realized her passion for entertainment when she won the drama award in middle school and was frequently noted for her comedic impressions. She rediscovered her love for acting when she began training in tv and film acting again whilst completing her specialist in Philosophy degree from the University of Toronto.
