Kieran Lowley began his creative ambition by writing his first novel entitled 'The Darkness Emerges.' An epic fantasy, filled with dragons, magic and surreal landscapes, this monumental task ignited the creative drive that would soon carry Kieran into film and digital media. Upon completing a year at the University of Worcester, Kieran decided to produce a film trailer for his novel, and went about this in a rather haphazard, inexperienced approach. But the candle was lit, and he soon went into producing his own short films and corporate media for the University of Sheffield. At the University of Sheffield, Kieran met many like-minded individuals, including his girlfriend and co-writer/co-director, Isobel Drane, who has helped him craft nearly every single production under his belt. In their time together they have written 7 feature screenplays, directed 7 short films, and created numerous corporate campaigns for the UoS. Along his way, Kieran has had the privilege of working with many talented professionals, and has met friends and colleagues for life, in everything from producers to editors, writers, actors and much more. Future ambitions for Kieran include shooting his inaugural feature film, Vaccine, a dystopian disease-apocalypse focused on humanity's ethical limits, and under which circumstances can corruption save lives. After this, the aim is to shoot Isobel Drane's brain child feature, Sage, a smaller scale fantasy focusing on elements of the Witch Trials.
