Sam Patrone

Sam Patrone is a New York based director, graduating from Pratt Institute in 2008 and working in TV and film for over 14 years. Having several hundred projects produced for national television, including directing, producing, and editing for productions such as Fox Sports, MSG, and NBC. He has created first-time scripted work with brands such as Coca-Cola, Conair, & Amazon and original content within a range of subjects from sports, fashion & beauty, street art and graffiti. Sam won Official Selection in 2020 for his Original Feature Screenplay, "Blue Collar", from the Rome Prisma Awards. In 2022, he received Special Mention at the LA One-Reeler Film Festival for his Short film, "We Were SAMO", with the legendary artist, Al Diaz, describing his partnership with the late Jean-Michel Basquiat. In 2022, Sam has been working on an Original Documentary Series called 'The Underground" about the evolution of graffiti & street art and working with prominent artists of the industry currently to create a new narrative directly contributed by the artists themselves and he is directing and producing "The Official Graffiti Timeline", presented by Al Diaz and the Howl Gallery in NYC.
