Emilia Michalowska was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to two Polish immigrants and started performing professionally at the age of 10. While growing up in Vancouver, Emilia trained as an actor and dancer, participating in regional dance competitions as well as High School Improv tournaments with the Canadian Improv Games (CIGs). In 2014 and 2016, Emilia won the regional CIGs tournament held on Granville Island at the renowned Waterfront Theatre. Upon graduating High School in Vancouver, Emilia attended the American Academy Of Dramatic Arts (AADA) professional acting conservatory in Los Angeles, California. After spending two years there, Emilia transferred to New York University's (NYU) Tisch School Of The Arts where she joined the school's premiere Improv team Dangerbox. (Notable Alum: Bowen Yang, Martin Herlihy, and Donald Glover.) Emilia is back and forth from New York City and Toronto working on independent projects and performing comedy. Most recent credits include, 'The Gene Pool' starring fellow Canadian Veronika Slowikowska, 'Dark Parks', and 'The House of Bernarda Alba' at The Gallery Players Theatre in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
