Moon Ferguson

Moon Ferguson is a Miami-based filmmaker known for her award-winning hit fantasy series, Juju: The Web Series. Moon's love for storytelling and fantastical stems from needing an escape from her topsy-turvy childhood and her love for Florida's mysticism. At the age of eight, Moon began to write herself as triumphant characters in control of their power and destiny, which shows in the characters she creates today. Her Chinese-Jamaican heritage, religious weekends with her multi-faith family, and experiences as a Black millennial woman (and first-generation American) play a major role in the stories she tells. Moon's mission is to bring escapism, adventure, and wonder to screen through Black history and Black culture across the African diaspora.
