Avis Murphy

Avis Murphy is an American actor, originally from the Midwest, with a reputation for unraveling the psyche of characters and bringing underlying emotion to the scene. Murphy earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Rhode Island and, later, a master's degree in education from DePaul. Curiosity eventually led Murphy to acting and she pursued training in Chicago before relocating to LA. Murphy's acting training, partnered with her background in education and psychology, has given her a potent skill set.
