Phoenix Anderson

At 13 years old, Phoenix Layne Anderson has already forged quite the career of her own. She has appeared in commercials and print ads for years, shooting for major retailer Kohl's and other catalogs from the age of five. The ever-precocious young lady has worked at her craft in popular Chicago camps and classes at Emerald City Theatre, The Green Room Studio, Northwestern University and more. Hard work pays off and by middle school Phoenix booked a role in the Teller (of Penn & Teller) directed Macbeth at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. A follow up to that wonderful run was booking a co-star role on Season 2 of Showtime's hit series "The Chi". When she's not working on school assignments, preparing for auditions or performing in shows for social justice theatre company Collaboraction, Phoenix plays competitive soccer and participates in community projects with her school.
