John McLain

John McLain is a voice actor specializing in audiobook narration. He was born November 29, 1971 in Edmond, Oklahoma. While studying Business Administration at Oklahoma State University, he began a radio broadcasting career that spanned over 15 years. He is best known for his work at KCBI-FM in Dallas, Texas. After radio, he discovered the musical theatre, and has performed in The Sound of Music (2009), My Fair Lady (2010), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor(R) Dreamcoat (2012), Annie (2014), and The Music Man (2018). In 2011 he began his audiobook narration career, and has twice been nominated for the Audie Award (2012, 2018) and is a winner of the SOVAS Voice Arts Award (2018).
