Marcia Carroll

Marcia Carroll is a proud member of AEA, AFTRA and SAG. An actress and a writer, she is a former news writer/associate producer/undercover investigator for both CBS and NBC News in Philadelphia, was a show host for the QVC Shopping Channel, a community columnist for the Dallas Morning News, and freelances for various travel and design publications. She recently completed a play, a dark comedy, "Grandmère," that she hopes to get produced, and just finished shooting the role of Mrs. McGregor in the film, "Red Dots." She has dozens of acting credits, but values most, her involvement as a board member and actor for the Contemporary Theatre of Dallas where she worked for over a decade. She studied with Broadway Director Terry Schreiber, Beatrice Straight and Jim Boerlin at Michael Chekhov Acting Studio, and at the American Academy of Dramatic Art.
