Helena Thrasher discovered her passion for performing at a young age and began her training at the age of seven. Known in the indie-film community of Orlando for her roles in Morning After (Cameron Tucker, Director) A Campfire Tale (Michael Cloutier, Director), and The Entrepreneur (Paisley Greer, Director), she has also appeared in other indie films and shows (The Fury, La Famiglia, Hit and COA) and a national ESPN commercial. Helena's training in acting, vocals, and dance includes the Lisa Maile School, SAK Comedy Cub, the John Hopkins Center for International Studies in the Arts, the Arthur Murray Dance Studio and various other dance studios in both Florida and Spain, where she lived for 11 years. Awarded with superior ratings by the Florida Vocal Association's Musical Performance Assessments, Helena has performed on stages such as Ruth Eckerd Hall and is happy to be back on stage performing Shakespeare's Merry Wives of Windsor after a long absence from stage acting. One of Helena's unique skills is making cat sounds, a skill she perfected when performing in a jazz-dance production of Cats. Helena also enjoys songwriting and figure skating, having won a silver medal in an ISI Winter Classics National Competition. She is also finishing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management.
