Alexo Wandael

Born and raised in Bolzano, Italy, Alexo Wandael turned his fascination with images into a full-time job after working as an architect in both New York and Berlin for over 11 years. As a Fine Art and Fashion Photographer he has received numerous awards and accolades from several prominent International Magazines and his work has been included in solo and group shows around the world and is also part of the permanent collection of the FIT Museum in NY. Drawn to narrative, he published two photography books documenting his motorcycle road trips across America between 2013-2016. In 2012 he was in Afghanistan with the Italian Army to document the tragic jailing of Afghan women and children, and the training of Afghan women to become soldiers. Alexo's aesthetics and visual storytelling extended to the direction of music videos (The River for KT Tunstall) and commercials, debuting in 2019 with his short film "To my pink lady". His clientele include Vivienne Westwood, Vogue Italia, L'Uomo Vogue, Bulgari, Nike, Chopard, Hermes, celebrities like Katy Perry, KT Tunstall, Oleg Cassini, Patch Adams, Roberto Bolle and many other personalities within the Fashion and Arts communities.
