Kate Vozella (she/her) is an Australian actor and writer based in Brooklyn, New York. Back home she has been recognized for her work in The Daily Telegraph and The Sydney Arts Guide. After completing her Bachelor's at the Australian Institute of Dramatic Arts, Kate was cast in 'Blackrock', by the award winning playwright Nick Enright, at the Seymour Centre in Sydney. Afterwards she moved to New York and studied for two years at Stella Adler Studio. After graduating, Kate was cast as 'Val' in A.A. Brenner's 'Transgressions' and she was shortlisted for the Platform Presents Playwrights Prize for her new play 'Burning Falling Rising Monster'. She has just wrapped the film MIA, which she wrote and starred in alongside Jason Butler Harner, directed by Jac Fitzgerald. Next, she will be working with production company Boycott Entertainment to launch and run their script development lab focusing on new and dynamic stories.
