Shane Edward Thompson

Shane Edward Thompson was born on the 17th of December in 1979 and grew up in Rohnert Park, CA. He started acted in school and in Boy Scout plays as long as it didn't interfere with martial arts or soccer. Then he moved to Salem OR. Where he attended Chemeketa Community College for psychology and glass art. He got leads in college plays but when he graduated he thought his acting career was over. For the next twelve years or so he made a living in the real world doing "real" jobs but his love for TV and movies never died. In 2015, he answered an open casting call for Grimm. He auditioned for the TV show and was asked to play a small role of "Commercial Crew" in the TV show. While he had no lines, the experience of being on a genuine TV set gave him the bug to do more of it. He decided to attend a class for new actors. The experience of working with like-minded people as well as the words of wisdom from his coach cemented his desire to make acting his new life goal. He was cast again and again as his performance and professionalism was noticed. Shortly thereafter, he was asked by directors to work closely with actors as body doubles, understudies and or stand-in opportunities. These life experiences has been humbling for him. Since then, he has been inspired to write his own movies so he can share his visionary creativity to captivate audiences. He still loves to do acting as well. Shane is finally living the life path he was destined for and couldn't be happier, and is grateful for the blessings he has had so far in his life journey .
