Emily is recognized for her recurring appearances on TLC Channel's show Say Yes to the Dress (2007), known for being the bride's outspoken entourage, an overly conservative protective sister who cringes at the thought of someone wearing a revealing wedding dress. Emily has also landed roles as an actress in films, TV, commercials and new media projects and has worked as a live correspondent and on-air host for TV and events. Emily's acting career started in her hometown in Minnesota when she was 8 years old auditioning for The Mighty Ducks movie. She gracefully glided and twirled on the ice in her pristine white figure skates and matching white gloves, convinced she nailed the role. It later came as no surprise that her career was not launched by playing a tough brunette tomboy with a killer hockey slap shot! She hung up her skates and went on to do print and commercial work during college at Arizona State University. She double majored in business and minored in theater while competing on the school's Division I swim team. She then earned her JD/MBA and become a civil litigation attorney, appearing in court before the jury as well as on the bench as a judge pro tem - surely the blondest judge on the docket! Emily, now a full time actress, is proud to call the great state of Texas her home, yet enjoys her life on the road to wherever her gypsy acting life will take her next! She likes performing improv and screenwriting in her spare time - might as well put those legal presentation and writing skills to use after all!
