Denise Bodan

Denise Bodán is a first-generation Nicaraguan-Canadian filmmaker based in Toronto. She has showcased her talents through various film projects; including "Grievance" which was distributed through 7 Palms Entertainment, and "As We Fall Silent" recently nominated as Best Drama Short at Indie Shorts. Denise's most recent project, "Creepy Bits" has premiered on Amazon Prime's Hollywood Suites Sub-Channel. As the production manager, she played a pivotal role in overseeing the project's logistics and ensuring a seamless production process. She was awarded a community Grant for Bell Fibe TV1 about backyard wrestling and family dynamics, which is scheduled to shoot in Spring 2025. Denise is working closely with the Showrunner and is lead Producer on the project Denise is dedicated to securing funding for innovative projects that spark meaningful conversations. With strong interpersonal skills and an extensive network, she fosters collaboration and creativity within the filmmaking community and strives to change the industry's landscape.
