Jasmin Demane Walker

Demane Walker a Multipotentialite, is a song writer, musician, actor, producer, graphic designer and entrepreneur who is known on stage as performer/rapper Mic Higan, or Mic Higan Demane. He was born Jasmin Demin Walker, ( July, 22,1987 ) at Grace Hospital, in Detroit, MI but was also raised in Cincinnati,OH with his mothers side of the family, where he graduated from high schools N.C.H ( North College Hill ) and Diamond Oaks Career Campus in (2005). His mother ( Gwendolyn C. Walker ), worked and retired from Michigan Bell, what is now known as At&t. His father ( Samuel C. Campbell ), Retired from the Detroit Public Edison lighting company. He has 4 other siblings, 1 older brother, and 4 older sisters. Demane began song writing and graphic design in 2003. By 2016, Demane Started up a small graphic designing business online by the name of JD Graphic Ink, where he creates digital marketing tools for small business brands. Demane also pursued his music career that year with a small group in Detroit by the name of M.C.M.G ( Motor City Made Global ). The group did various shows which led to performing Live via Facebook for the South West Musicians Conference in Oklahoma city, OK, in front of the Legendary Hip-hop Grand-Master Caz and the Cold Crush brothers. While continuing their journey they then went on to open for No Limit Records rappers Mystikal and Mia X. After about a year and a half Demane Walker moved back to Cincinnati at the end of 2017 where he began to act on film in 2018 where he took on many small roles in short films and Music Videos with other upcoming directors, producers, writers and musicians as a collective in Cincinnati who started their own independent careers in film. This lead to meeting and working with 24 Emmy Award winning Director/Producer known for ( Monica Still Standing ) in 2009 and more, Alphonzo Wesson by 2019. You may be able to see Demane Walker's 1st two TV debut's on the Renew Community Church ( Connect Circle ) series of commercials produced by Alphonzo Wesson on all of the Spectrum TV Channels. Later that year Demane continued forth with his creative endeavors and wrote,produced and acted in his first short screenplay called "Still Awake" a Short film about a writer who suffers from a severe case of Sleep Paralysis, for a Fright Film Competition in August 2019. The film was nominated for 2 awards and has since been gaining a lot of attention on social media with almost 500k views.
