Elisee Junior St Preux

Born and raised in North Miami Beach, FL, Elisee Junior St Preux is a Haitian Storyteller that exploits his craft through Writing, Acting, and Directing. Cultivated in a household where the arts have dominated several generations down the line, he began his journey in the performing arts at an early age as a brass instrumentalist and hip-hop dancer. In 2018, he obtained a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in IT and a minor in Theatre at Florida Atlantic University. As a creative and natural businessman, it was a matter of time before Elisee took the next step in his career. Better late than never, in 2019, he moved to the historical and wildly cultural city of Atlanta, GA where he sought training at pristine acting studios. Shortly after, it was apparent that Elisee did not only enjoy acting, but also writing and directing. As a result, he created the film blog "The Movie Butter Playbook", focusing on film news, movie reviews, cinephile analyses, and trivia. In the midst, he created a screenwriting label, "A La MODE Films", and immediately began to create and produce his own content. Today, the label now holds a vault of over one hundred screenplays and twelve productions that have premiered at prestigious film festivals such as Tribeca. Elisee has completed several commercials including campaigns for U Health and Telemundo. He also made appearances on a few television networks such as BET, OWN, and TV One. Ultimately designing his content through explicit dreams, imagination, and a lively childhood, Elisee's solemn goal is to bear witness and share stories that reflect today, honor the past, and re-imagine the future. Elisee is known for the coming-of-age fantasy, Aurinko in Adagio (2021) that premiered at Tribeca Film Festival.
