Anthony Oriens

From the City of the Alphabet, Byblos, Anthony Oriens is a Film Composer and a Visual Artist who was born with the gift of synesthesia; a sensory gift whereby the person may "associate visuals with music, and music with visuals". At age 12, he started learning the guitar, the polyphonic instrument that swiftly helped him understand the craft of composition. In 2013, he traveled to Boston MA, to attend Berklee College of Music. He soon switched to Berklee Online so that he could study not only film scoring but also illustration, concept art, directing, cinematography, and film production. He has mastered the crafts of illustration and concept art by studying online with the best mentors around the world, including Glen Vilppu, Craig Mullins, Nathan Fowkes, David Jamieson and Ron Lemen. In 2016, he received the Tom Snow Celebrity Scholarship at Berklee College of Music.
