Dr. Alex Berezow, the "Junk Science Debunker," is a science writer, author, and public speaker who specializes in the "translation" of science for the public and mass media. Specifically, he debunks junk science, especially public health misinformation and popular "clickbait" stories. Dr. Berezow holds a PhD in microbiology from the University of Washington. He lives in the Seattle area with his wife and daughter.
