Armin Kraaz is a former footballer and coach. He was born and raised in Frankfurt and began his senior professional career at his local side, Eintracht Frankfurt. After playing 123 matches for Eintracht, he left the team for cross-town rivals Rot-Weiss Frankfurt. His last appearance for the club was famously bittersweet, as he sat crying on the bench as an unused substitute in the DFB Cup final, even though Eintracht Frankfurt went on to lift the trophy. Since 1996 he has worked as a coach at Eintracht Frankfurt and is currently the Director of the teams' youth academy.
