Morgan Jago

Morgan Jago started working in the Australian film industry in 2007 as mainly an actress and occasional film crew member. She attended formal acting training at Sanford Meisner's Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City in 2013. Morgan Phoenix Jago was born in Tully, Queensland, Australia, a town with a population of 5,000 people. Her mother, Siew (nee Leong) was a dressmaker, and Ted Jago her father, was a sugarcane farmer. Their family lived on their sugarcane farm at the outskirts of the town. Both of her parents passed away before she was 20 years of age. She has one younger sister, Nita, and has Chinese and English ancestry. Morgan Jago is also an author, screenwriter and producer, and her first script, "In Texas, Once Upon a Time" went into pre-production in 2019.
