It takes more than just incredible talent to make it in today's crowded, music-verse and while Angelic has it all, it's also her incredible drive that separates her from the pack. In fact, it's not just about her personal willpower, but also about her family's. We all know it takes a village to do something great, but it really helps when a clear star is the obvious focus. Born in Miami to Venezuelan immigrants, Angelic grew up like many first-generation Latin American's, speaking both Spanish and English fluently. This home life and of course living in the vibrant, heavily Latin City of Miami, also created cultural and musical influences from both R&B and Spanish singing artists. Angelic remembers coming home from school, headphones on listening to Mariah Carey or Beyoncé, to find her mother working around the house with a glass of wine in her hand listening to artist's like, Pablo Alboran, Luis Enrique or Laura Pausini. This juxtaposition of both cultures formed much of Angelic's early identity. This point is hammered home even more so now, when she says, "People say I talk like Cardi but I sing like Mariah." Whether it was Shakira or Beyoncé, Prince Royce or Chris Brown, Angelic formed her very unique vocal style as a direct reaction to all of those influences and as a result, is able to riff along with the best R&B singers, not just in English, but also in Spanish. This ability to blend musical culture into her own unique vocal magic, sets her apart from many current artists. When talking about the race to the top, Angelic does not feel rushed or that she is in competition with anyone else, or in a race of any kind for that matter. Rather she is focused and secure in her own path and the journey set forth by her parents. She says clearly, "you need the determination to do it, it takes hard work and believing in yourself, even when others say no." Indeed, the word "no" wasn't something her parents were going to hear either, so along with her brother, they packed up their entire life, left good jobs, family, school and friends back in the tropical warmth of Miami and headed out west for dreams only Los Angeles can see come true. Along the way, Angelic has worked with companies such as DreamWorks extensively, singing songs for films and other high-profile initiatives or brands, racking up many millions of views and streams across several platforms. All the while she has been building a loyal and legitimate fan-base of well over 700,000 followers across social media. It wasn't until her manager introduced her to The Architects, a hot LA based production team, that her real music push began to catch some momentum and start to become what she wanted it to be. Performing at Showcases in LA and releasing both English and Spanish songs, Angelic quickly amassed a reputation for being a tremendous performer, good songwriter and a great vocalist. Sure enough in early 2020, The Heavy Group, known for their Multi-Platinum work with artists like Bazzi, Kiana Ledé, G-Eazy, Rihanna,Jay Sean and more saw her perform live at one of those showcases. It was clear to them that a partnership to work on Angelic with The Architects needed to happen. Now knee deep into her first full length project, an R&B fusion of late 90's classics and new school urban- beats and melodies, Angelic is ready to show the world what her parents knew from the start. The word "No" just doesn't exist in her universe and soon enough she will be having the entire world listening to her music saying "Yes!."
