Joy Bhowmik

Joy Bhowmik, born in India, currently residing in UK, is a media professional, singer and actor. He had taken to stage acting at a very young age and has been performing Bollywood covers in many gigs across UK, India and EU for the past 25 years. His performances include shows with Kumar Shanu, Udit Narayan, Mohd. Aziz and more recently with Amit Kumar in the UK Legacy Tour. Joy debuted on screen with Sharate Aaj (Bengali) a web-series for Zee5 Directed by Aritra Sen, starring Parambrata Chatterjee. His second film was Shesh Theke Shuru (Raj Chakraborty) a Jeet - Koyel Mallick starrer which released in 2019. His 3rd film being Rat on a Highway (Hindi/English) directed by Vivek Chauhan starring Randeep Hooda is currently under production. He has also acted in the upoming Marathi/Hindi film called 'Tawar (Pranksters)' directed by Kedar Gaekwad which is palnned to be released in early 2021. In 2020 he acted alongside Saswata Chatterjee in a Bengali film by, ''Anusandhan'' and has guest appeared in a Sayantan Ghoshal film named ''Swastik Sanket'', both to be released in 2021. His most recent acting assignment was for a small character role in the upcoming film, Footprints on Water, shot in UK (English) starring Adil Hussain and directed by Nathalia Syam. It is scheduled for a late 2021 release. A versatile actor, Joy has a lot to offer he feels.
