Emma Merritt

Emma Merritt is a bi-coastal Actress, fluent in English and Swedish. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Florida International University. She has undergone training in Meisner, Checkov, Laban, Linklater and many more acting techniques and practices. Most recently she has completed a six week Voice Over course from the VO Dojo. Emma has played a wide range of characters and is drawn to strong female characters that gain their strength from hardships. She also enjoys playing roles that come off as innocent and kindhearted but turn out to be twisted and manipulative. She especially enjoys art that makes people ask questions about their environment but also art that shows the magical nature of life. Some of her recent credits include: Luna, Development Hell, Ophelia, Fatal Attraction, Breaking the Habit, and House, not Home. Emma grew up in the US Virgin Islands, taking part in many theatrical endeavors at Pistarckle Theater. Her experience as a young girl at Pistarckle gave her the guidance to pursue a career in acting. She later moved to Miami to continue her academic journey at Florida International University, graduating from their BFA Performance program.
