Ukrainian electronic folk band Onuka was founded in 2013, by Nata Tomata, the former singer of 'Tomato Jaws' and 'Kooqla' bands, and Evgeniy Filatov, the leader of 'The Maneken'. Onuka gained its international recognition after their performance as a special guest at The Eurovision Song Contest (2017). The band's instrumentation includes electronic drums, trombones, French horns, and Ukrainian folk instruments such as Cossack's trumpet, bandura, sopilka, tsymbaly, drymba, trembita. Nata Tomata is the lead singer, lyricist and idea creator. Evgeniy Filatov is the main composer, sound producer and art director. The musicians of Onuka: Daryna Sert (keyboard, back vocals), Mariya Sorokina (percussion), Yevhen Yovenko (bandura), Andriy Voychuk (tsymbaly, drymba), Serhiy Kashyn (trombone, trembita), Mykola Blokshyn (trombone, trembita), Vitaliy Baklazhenko (trombone), Oleksandr Lisun (trombone), Taras Dovhopol (French horn, Cossack's trumpet), Vladyslav Petrenko (French horn).
