Sara Meyer

Sara Meyer began her career as a dancer, singer, actress in musical theatre in Chicago and across the U.S, performing in shows such the Broadway hit 42nd Street. Turning from the stage to on-camera, she acted in television commercials and industrial films throughout the Midwest. After an unforgettable trip to the Philippines in the late 1980's, she and her husband James Meyer began making documentary films in Asia, Africa and India, relocating to Singapore and traveling to more than 75 countries. In 2006 they founded GemStone Media in Germany, an international production company specializing in producing positive, uplifting films.
